  • I need some advice on how you legal students study. I have my outlines all typed and printed (fresh), and I’m ready to read the Giberts, Glannons, FRCP, and U.C.C. stuff—but I can’t concentrate! I just fall asleep every time I crack open the book.

I have a little over two weeks to prepare for finals…GIVE ME SOME GOOD ADVICE [please].

  • haha good for you! i have a final 2morrow! you haven’t even read FRCP or UCC??!? lol.. that’s insane… well, the quickest way to gauge where you are: take a practice exam… look at the model answer and see if you are in the ballpark. that’s about it! if you can reproduce or closely reproduce the model answer you’re in good shape. :) so i guess your’e a 1L too.. the key is ISSUE SPOTTING. you can always BS the rest. but issue spotting, is really the crux. and why did you say.. “you” legal students… what… you’re not a law student?!?

hey cute pic… got any more? lol i mean… since you are a model / citizen… written in a way as if.. models and citizens.. are diametrically opposed. lol. :P

  • Hey Sylvia,

Sorry this is going to be a short comment since I’m in M’sia and using someone else’s PC… but in short, the accounting firms offer us a full time job whilst we study part time (ie. at night) for 2 years, and then we do full time university for 2 years to complete our degree. So, whilst it takes a year longer to complete, we are paid over the time (both when working and also during full time study) so that ppl are elegible to complete post-graduate studies (necessary work exp. requirements). The job is also quite good.

    Jeff.
ps. Good luck with your studying! Drink water! I’m no legal student (i dropped it!)… but good luck!!!
